Trainer’s on a Girls Night Out?!

There seems to be an unwritten rule, that on a night out females should wear high heels. Now for me that rule is definitely unwritten, because it is something I never follow. I believe in comfort on a night out, and I’m just not one of those girls that find them in heeled shoes. Of course on the rare occasion you may catch me with the odd heel on, however the majority of the time, you’ll see me in either my fave gold Nike Cortez’s or a standard pair of all black Adidas Superstar’s. The main reason for this is because these trainers can be easily cleaned with an antibacterial wipe (BONUS!)

So with this post  I am reaching out to all of you lovely ladies who also feel the urge to wear comfortable shoes on a night  out, without looking like you’ve received the wrong memo.

Over the years, stylish, colourful trainers has become a big part of fashion, and we  are very lucky to be able to access to this type of fashion, and I don’t feel that we take as much advantage of this as we possibly could.

Below are a few night out looks, which I dressed with trainers.

On my 19th Birthday I dressed a Pretty Little Thing bodysuit with a Zara Pencil Skirt and Nike Cortez’s

During Halloween this year I went for a sparkly mermaid look. I put together this glittery playsuit from Pretty Little Thing with Adidas Superstar’s

You have inspired me! I really don’t like heels but I always feel such pressure to wear them on a night out. I then end up cutting my night early cos I’m in pain. Will definitely be switching to trainers : )
