My trip to Dubai was a fun and relaxing whirlwind. My friends and I decided that after a long and somewhat stressful 2015 we deserved a break and Dubai was the perfect getaway!
Staying in Jumeirah Beach Residence, we were able to spend time on the beach, eat out at a number establishments as well as being at the centre of a fantastic fireworks display on UAE National Day.
If you are travelling to Dubai, my first tip would be to make sure you buy alcohol at the airport, as the laws in the country only permit you to purchase alcohol at hotel bars or clubs; and it is also illegal to drink in public places! So if you are like me and love to pre-drink or just drink indoors for no reason make sure you are prepared.
As you can see, champagne for breakfast was a regular occurence!
Where we stayed was literally within walking distance of the beach but we also had a private pool which we visited at night.
I was always so eager to eat so I rarely took pictures of the food.
A trip to Dubai wouldn’t be complete without a trip to the top of the Burj Khalifa (talles building in the world).
